Home, small Home

(by: Hunter)
The job hunt continues. We may need new work shoes after all the miles we have logged. We HAVE had a couple interviews, and are holding our breath for a positive response. Don't want to say anymore on this subject lest we jinx it.

We are now living in our very own apartment...which we can't wait to get out of as soon as possible. No more needs to be said about it - let your imagination roam. It's good to know that it costs us approximately the same as that for which I am renting my Portland home, but is the size of the entry hall and much much less welcoming. Anyway, it's "home" for now, and will be until we can get paid very well for just being us - which is what I'm holding out for.

Oskar gets sprung from the Big House on Sunday, one way or another. I must get him out of there before he gets anymore prison "tats". I was fine with the "Lone Wolf" on his bicep, but when I saw "B I T E" and "T H I S" across his knuckles, I knew that he must be mixing with the daschund prison mafia, and it was time for action. I can't wait to get him back here to this spacious closet to fill it with love and hair.

There is so much to see and do in Sydney. Luckily the beauty is free, because the rest of it costs plenty. Hard to see oneself surrounded by so many interesting diversions, but feel like you can't afford them until you get employed. Soon, though.

We had a very nice dinner with an Architect named Luigi Rosselli and his wonderful family. Though he isn't hiring, it turns out one of Candace's friends is a friend of his, and he was nice enough to meet with us and give us advice and direction concerning the local marketplace. In addition, we enjoyed a excellent Italian meal and some fine wine. Thanks for your generosity Luigi!

We have plans with fellow University of Oregon graduate Tom Bergstrom and his cool wife and business partner Ania and their little daughter Ella, on Sunday. Looking forward to seeing them again.

Well that's about all for now.
peace & love, h&c
