Visas at Last
We are now official "long-stay business Visa" holders!
Yesterday we finally got the sticker in our passports that allows us to reside and work (legally) in Australia. Our tourist visas having long since expired, we were riding along on a "bridging visa" and holding our breath - if there was a problem with the application, we could have been instantly deported.
Special thanks to Candace's employer Luigi Rosselli for the sponsorship. Without this, we would have been forced to surrender 13% or more of every paycheck to one of the Sponsorship Agencies that prey on foreign workers.
